Privacy policy
What we collect when you ask for a free inspection, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. Written plainly, not buried in legalese. CSLB #1070762.
How we handle your info
RECO Roofing Inc. is a family-owned roofing contractor licensed under CSLB #1070762, based in Tracy, CA. We collect only what we need to inspect, quote, and complete your roofing project — and we don't sell it.
1. Information we collect
When you request a free inspection, submit our contact form, or call us, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and details about the roof or work you're asking about. We may also collect information you share verbally during an inspection or estimate.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to schedule and perform inspections, prepare itemized quotes, communicate about your project, coordinate with your insurance company or builder when needed, and provide the roofing services you requested. We may also use your contact details to follow up about your project or, with your permission, share completed work for our portfolio. We do not sell your information.
3. Inspections & photos
During a free inspection we take photos of your roof to document its condition and build your quote. These photos are of the roof and exterior of the property. We do not photograph interiors or private spaces without permission. We may use before-and-after photos of completed work in our portfolio and on our website, but we will not use identifying property details without your consent.
4. Sharing your information
We share your information only as needed to perform the work — for example, with material suppliers, your insurance company at your direction, or building officials for permits. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing. We do not share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. How we store & protect your data
We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Contact details and project records are kept securely and limited to the team members who need them. However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies & analytics
Our website may use basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are most visited). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We do not use your information to build a profile for targeted advertising across other websites.
7. Your rights
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct inaccurate information, and to ask us to delete your information where we are not legally required to retain it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for property owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party websites (for example, social media profiles or mapping services). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We will not use your information in a materially different way without notifying you.
